The gait analysis is a crucial part of a podiatrists' assessment of a patient when presenting with various foot and lower limb concerns. "Gait" refers to the manner in which someone walks, so assessing this can tell us a lot about why a particular part of you is getting sore.

At FARC, we have the capacity to observe gait with hallway walking assessments, but also on a treadmill. In some cases, a persons' gait can be recorded as a video gait analysis. This can then be slowed down and played back to hone in on various parts of each stepping cycle to ensure that each movement is closely monitored. A computer recorded gait analysis is a way that we at FARC can be the frontrunners in helping you to achieve greater outcomes with your injury concerns.
